If you’ve never heard of Chicago-based DJ and house music producer J. Worra, I’ll be the first to tell you she’s the hardest-working yet most humble badass in the industry. To highlight just a few reasons she warrants this introduction: she taught herself instruments growing up, has a full-time corporate job on top of working full-time in the music industry, started her own record label, won DJ Mag’s Breakthrough Producer this year, is in a relationship, and produces dope house music.
As you can imagine, I had a lot of questions for someone who grinds so hard and has come so far – mainly, “How do you do it?” And I’m so honored to have had the chance to actually ask her! Check out the full interview below*:
